Ok...since I don't post much on this blog, and I don't want to left it with too little post, I will try my best to post something, at least once a month and I need any topic I love to do that. so since books are one of the things I love, I’m gonna post about the books I read this time...
MAJOR SPOILER!!(is it?) Mostly about the last book of the series. Don't read if you are reading the MAXIMUM RIDE series and haven't reached the end yet, or is planning on reading the series in the future!
About 20 minutes ago (more or less) I finished reading the sixth and also the last books in the Maximum Ride series which took me about two weeks (not my best record but hey, I've got stuff to do in between reading)...and what can I say? It's totally awesome and everyone should read it! I've been wanting to get a copy of the book since I've read 'When the Wind Blows' a few years ago, and 'The Lake House' a month or two ago (read, and you know why and the connection) and since I’ve got it, I’ve been sucking everything in like I have nothing else to do, which I actually have. But, that's me and book. Can't stop reading until I've reached the end.
And back to the books, after finishing 'Fang'(that's the title of the last book), I couldn't help asking myself 'WHY????' I'm glad Fang is alive, but WHY does he have to leave the flock? Okay, he gave his reasons and all in the letter he left for Max, but that's not enough! I mean, meeting again after 20 years? If they did not expire yet? They will be old! NOOOO! I don't like it! I hate it! But since I'm NOT the author, I just have to swallowed everything and live with it, which is kinda suck. Angel is a scary bird kid, and I hate her for a while, because she sort of betray the flock, she insist on being the leader even though she's the youngest, and she did for a while, after the flock vote that Max should not be the leader (read the book to know more), and also, it also Angel fault (sort of) that Fang died, at least for a while at some point in the story. I was extremely glad that he actually start breathing again without any brain damage 'coz his heart had stopped beating for, i don't know, 20 minutes? Thanks god he's a mutant.
Angel is scary. She has the abilities to hear what people thought, and developed the power to control mind, breath underwater( Max and Fang can do that to), can even talk to animal, and she could sent her though to other people, so she could communicate with people through her mind. which, i think is pretty cool if I have her power(not gonna happen), but thinking that another person could hear what I’m thinking about is kinda scary, and having that other person controlling me with her mind is scarier. So i just hope that there's no actual person that could control other people mind in this world.
But still, I want to write my own ending for Max, Fang and the rest of the flock! But i doubt that it'll be better. So I just hope that Mr. Patterson will write something else about the flock, something not less awesome, but happier, something like the flock meeting Fang again before twenty years, and the live happily ever after for the rest of their life(which, not gonna happen, ever, as Max always said in the books), but anyway, something along those lines.
And any of you that happen to be reading think that I’m a little too old to be reading the Maximum Ride series and got too caught up in it, coz it all not real and only fiction, SO WHAT? 'Coz I don't think so haha...I choose what i read, and it's up to me to enjoy it or not, get overly excited over something that's not real or whatever. It feel real and sometimes I wish it is real (doesn't apply to just the Maximum Ride series, other books too). I'm not mad or anything, just saying. I just love books and reading, it's a whole new world to explore every time I read a book.
Don't have an internet connection right now, hence the day, date and time on top. So, gonna get something to eat now...haven't eat anything for the whole day. Maybe next time I’ll post about the Hunger Games trilogies?
Now for the pics...(1st, 2nd,4th, 5th and the last book)no third book though, my friend borrowed it. Does any of you think the guy on the 2nd book cover (i think it supposed to be Fang) look like Joe Jonas?
